The Tabernacle Women’s Choir invites the musicologist, Olivier Chen and Gleam Ensemble, to guide the audience to experience the dramatic, energetic, and grandiose spirit of the Baroque era, in the form of a lecture recital. The program will take on the challenge of presenting the complete versions of Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria and Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, accompanied by baroque ensembles of Baroque instruments with basso continuo, performed in original Baroque tuning of A-415.
